"PHOENIX" This 18 year old gelding was surrendered
by a home who did not know how to care for him - in fact, they thought he was a mare! 15 hands tall, weighing only
600 pounds at intake, he has a long way to go to get healthy again. He is friendly and bright eyed, and ready to try!

"LITTLE JAKE" This sweet 25 year old gelding was surrendered
by an outfitter when he could no longer keep weight on when with the herd. He is as friendly as they come, and has whinnied
loudly for his rations from the first day here. He is about 14 hands, and loves kids! A long road of recovery
lies ahead of him...

"RUNNING BEAR" This handsome 18 year old mustang gelding was in no condition
to run when he came to us - he was unhalterbroke, ungelded, and with feet grossly overgrown. Our first
task was to anesthetize him to trim his feet and geld him. It will take months of gradually trimming his feet to
(hopefully) return him to soundness. Running Bear will also begin training to be halter broke and gain trust
with having his feet worked on. Running Bear has a long road of learning and healing ahead of him!
